I just got a reed diffuser two days ago, i have followed the directions exactly and its not working?

i have even flipped the reeds after soaking in the oil all night just in case it didnt soak long enough the first time. how long should it take for it to start scenting my house? you can only smell it when you stand right next to it.
Unless it has a cork top to hold the reeds in place, you will only have a very faint scent. I couldn’t smell mine either then found out about the cork…….
Don’t assume the scent isn’t in a wider area just because you think you’re only detecting it when standing next to it. It should be subtle. You only turn the sticks after a time. And it certainly doesn’t scent a whole house.
One reed diffuser won’t scent your whole house. Generally, you wouldn’t want it to be strong enough to do so, or else you wouldn’t be able to stand right next to it.
It sounds to me as if it’s working just fine.
